No one is coming for your stove bro. You just won't have as much infrastructure to support it. Its like horses and steam engines. They exist but society isn't designed around them any more. You and others like you will be fine. At some point someone will develop a way to toss a wok on a inductive surface better than a gas burner, just give it time.
