For political activism, piano wire is better than an assault rifle. You don't want to draw attention to yourself. Just plant the idea in the collective consciousness that people who are outspoken pricks tend to wind up dumped behind a bush in a dark alley with ligature marks on their neck. No statements made, no credit taken, no witnesses. Is it because they're transphobic, or racist, or missoginistic? Who knows? We'd better be on our best behaviour generally.
