According to Wikipedia, someone named Bill Montgomery - never heard of 'im, but then I don't travel in those circles.

These sorts of organisations always tend to be founded by rich, but not particularly persuasive individuals. They tend to find someone like Kirk to be the face of the organisation so they can reap the benefits without having to do any of the legwork.
I mean would you be interested in a random 87-year-old's political pronouncements?
