I usually ride through Aro valley, but I've done a circuit of Mt Vic a few times.
Most of the MTB tracks are new tracks, so I'm not sure what everyone is moaning about.
...No? Most of the tracks on Mt Vic are really old.
Sure, they've built a bunch of new jump lines in the last 5 years, but the old ones are the good ones: Damien's, bomb hole, groms, V, park bench, TTS are all well over a decade old (or considerably more, especially Damien's which goes back to the mid-90s, allegedly)
