A place for for news, discussion, memes, and links criticizing capitalism and advancing viewpoints that challenge liberal capitalist ideology. That means any support for any liberal capitalist political party (like the Democrats) is strictly prohibited.

A zero-tolerance policy for bigotry of any kind. Failure to respect this will result in a ban.

3 No capitalist apologia, anti-socialism, or liberalism, liberalism is in direct conflict with the left. Support for capitalism or for the parties or ideologies that uphold it are not welcome or tolerated.

4 No imperialism, conservatism, reactionism or Zionism, lessor evil rhetoric. Dismissing 3rd party votes or 'wasted votes on 3rd party' is lessor evil rhetoric.

5 No bigotry, no racism, sexism, antisemitism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, or any type of prejudice.

6 Be civil in comments and no accusations of being a bot, 'paid by Putin,' Tankie, etc. This includes instance shaming.

I created these guides as I was dispondent in the direction the world is going and feeling helpless. Besides the political movements, I feel the next best thing is to promote businesses that don't prioritise profits over people.

The starting point is moving away from big tech, but the intention of the movement is to extend to other products and industries.

Hi! Just wanted to pop in here and say that I've been following your guides for a long time now (I was the Degoogle+ Journey OP), and I'm super happy for the website finally releasing! Your call to action has helped me tremendously with making my digital life align more with my values, as well as finding some much better alternatives. Thank you for making a difference in this ugly future we're living.

Thanks @xpey@piefed.social ! It's comments like these that make it all worth it. So hard to know how many people are actually following these guides and benefiting from them. Having done the switch myself through this process, I feel so much better using tools from genuine businesses.
