Last time I checked Scotland wasn't in the USA ๐ค. Gulf of Scotland? Maybe that's Trump's next big move ๐.
But I take your point about autocorrect. And perhaps you need to be a little bit more up to date with Scottish politics to understand the education jibe.
At the end of the day it's a silly meme on the internet.
To be fair, autocorrect will correct it according to the system and keyboard language and I have questions as to why a Scottish person would select English (US) as their system or keyboard language
Maybe it was the default.
This is snobby of me to say, but the general level of skill in writing in the UK - as in the US - is shockingly low.
Also, a lot of Scots use American spellings sometimes because of internet influence
