Steve Witkoff is teaching a master class to Russian officials on how to get what they want from Donald Trump.

On Oct. 14, Trump’s special envoy advised Vladimir Putin’s top foreign policy aide, Yuri Ushakov, on how the Russian dictator should curry favor with Trump before broaching a proposed peace plan between Russia and war-torn Ukraine, Bloomberg News reported on Tuesday.

During the five-minute call, Witkoff told Putin’s henchman that the Russian president should personally phone Trump, 79, ahead of his planned meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky—where Zelensky hoped, but ultimately failed, to secure long-range Tomahawk cruise missiles—to congratulate him on the Gaza ceasefire.

I totally believe there's something there. Too many red flags - like not bringing interpreters on talks w/ putin. and keeping nuclear secrets in the guest bathroom at mar a lago.

I think people will look back and really be disappointed in this generation for doing nothing about this

yeah, I mean... as much as we do today. like, you know this isn't the first time foreign collusion has delivered a republican to the white house? nixon did it. LBJ literally called it treason.

Then reagan did it 20 years later with iran. then sent them weapons for the f14s purchased by the Shah.

we know these things are true, but some people either don't care about history or care more about hurting brown people and taking women's rights.

and keeping nuclear secrets in the guest bathroom at mar a lago.

Do you mean provably selling top secret documents to the Saudis who then shared the information with Russia?

Don’t forget Israel. Trumps BFF’s Jeffery and Gihiseline were mossad so his ties to Israel are most definitely deep. His plans to build Gaza Lago are pretty telling.

The timeline of his dealings with Russia on this Wikipedia page is revealing https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Business_projects_of_Donald_Trump_in_Russia

I don't need to ask, I know the answer already: money.

about a decade ago the fossil fuel interests of this planet decided their profits were worth more than the rest of humanity surviving and they went all in. it dates back to 50 years ago when their own scientists warned them, and the world about the possibilities.

money is the driver.

no rush, I doubt there will be surprises

Lol you were right, only step left in their big plan is for us to either get violent or initiate the big sad :(

[–] mojofrododojo@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

action works. but we don't talk about that on lemmy.

I'm honestly at a loss. Guy 100% raping children is running the show and everyone is just like "welp, there's a few thousand of them and nearly 400,000,000 of us, what can you do "

That is really constructive. Thank you.

How would you go about finding the same for my area?
