I don't understand how these photos of a man pre and after war have anything to do with Lemmy
I think it just means, likely that the lemmy users have "seen some shit" that eventually caused them to join Lemmy instead of the horde of reddit users.
Idk, I think Lemmy would heal ex Reddit users from the trauma they had to endure
It's not an amazing meme and I'm not sure I agree with it, but in my understanding it is trying to say that we, Lemmy users, are experienced and not naive unlike Reddit users.
You are probably right though
I think Lemmy trends older and has less bots.
Nothing like having bots and random high schoolers spam you with bad faith arguments.
I generally find that if you avoid the tankie spaces there's a really good ratio of valuable exchanges to pissing contests.
