Created as an evolution of White People Twitter and other tweet-capture subreddits.

I would heartily support that. The Fediverse should take a stand against this advertiser-friendly bullshit.

That would cut down on the number of memes available, since the sources are often censored.

I think we should require someone posting a censored meme add additional censorship to make the message appear more potentially offensive.

The vast majority of the time it would take a couple of seconds to just uncensor the words. There's no need to keep the censorship, anyone here could easily do it.

I downvote them. If enough people agree to do that then people will probably start making the tiny effort it takes to uncensor the memes.

I'm with you, but our meme community is already so sparse and limited compared to larger platforms that I'm not sure we'd like the results.
