I could never imagine any of my fellow countrymen here in the US putting themselves on the line like that and risking jail to protect others.
You even vaguely imply that it is something people should be doing and you get reamed for it.
I can imagine people who would do that, but none of them rhe sorts who would call themselves Americans.
Thats kind of a slur these days.
