Didn't China already hack the DoD, or some other contractor, and steal the F-22 or F-35 plans? I swear I read this a few years ago.
No, that's the main faux pas if you're a US liberal with no care for human life that doesn't meet a property minimum or resides outside your borders, and not being that I don't give a shit about China getting access to US military tech. Arming Saudi Arabia is bad because Saudi Arabia is an autocratic imperialist slaver state.

Much like capitalism, competition is important between systems of government until we get it right. Capitalism obviously isn't the right system, but China abuses the shit out of ethnic minorities as well (Uyghurs in the news most recently).
Maybe we should all live in Norway. I hear they're chill.
This is mostly western anticommunist bullshit. There is no big nation as multiethnic and as accepting of it as China to my knowledge. There was a terrorist problem in the province of Xinjiang, and after some big terror attacks in the 2000s and 2010s by radical Islamist groups linked to ISIS, the government created some reeducation camps (emphasis on reeducation), which have been closed since at least 2022. Terrorism disappeared, and Uyghur people live fully free lives. You wanna see a minority oppressed, go ask the citizens in the US being disappeared for the colour of their skin, or go ask the 1 in 5 black males in the US whom are subjected to the prison system.
Norway ia a mini-petrostate living off the natural gas deposits on its coasts, and even then, it cannot even bring itself to sanction Israel by stopping investments from one of the greatest investment fund in the planet, the Norwegian pension fund.
I agree that we're fucked up beyond belief in the States. If the matter is forfeiting our wealth for free, yeah, it's going to give up our economic security... but it's not going to make us better off. There's something wrong with every current government, right? But we have to agree that some are better than others.
