It was surprisingly easy to do the stripe, I was expecting everything to fall apart! The real challenge was keeping the end from unraveling when I was done, but I managed... barely.

Well done, looks great on the pup! Handmade gifts are amazing. My wife knitted me a similar scarf and it's one of my most prized possessions.

Thanks! It is simple, but I had a surprising amount of fun making it. My brother is still young so I don't expect him to be sentimental about it, but our mom loves scarfs so at least he can match!
