Offset that cost by selling them to Americans for cheap!
You'd have to work with the US to carve out an exemption in the import laws but it'd actually be totally doable in all likelihood.
Win/win, gets them out of the country, offsets the cost of the buybacks, and US buyers might get some cool shit on the cheap!
