I tried keto a few years ago. I did infact lose a lot, quick. But also I developed gout.

To be fair i wasn't focused on balancing it well and wasnt eating enough fresh foods and "good" fats or whatever. Don't just cut carbs and replace all your meals with bacon and cheese. Theres more to it than that I guess.
