For anyone curious to try and source this, it looks like this image is a screenshot of this reddit post but there's also this slightly differently-worded blog post of the same idea which was posted on the same day.

I'd be interested to see if anyone can find an earlier source.

Looking at both, I'm inclined to think the blog is the original. The blog has existed for over a decade and the author is a therapist
