Oh my, there are so many reasons. Let me share some of the bullshit I've heard.
They're girls, so boys won't watch it. (Park a kid in front of a cartoon and tell me they won't watch)
It teaches empathy, the right's most hated of human facets.
The parents are friends and parents shouldn't be friends - they should be parents. This was said by my brother in law who is big into spanking.
These are TV and not real kids. Real kids don't play like that.
It's unrealistic parenting. (Admittedly, Chili, Bandit, and Lucky's dad must be in a workshop together with how quick they "yes, and")
The conservative response for most of this was some chinchilla based knock off that had no lessons for parents and just a morality message embedded in it like a Saturday morning cartoon. That only had 1 season. Bluey is at 3 and a movie.
I think it's great that the parenting is unrealisticly good; it gives us something to aspire to.
