8. Misinformation is prohibited.

9. No link shorteners.

The auto mod will contact you if a link shortener is detected, please delete your post if they are right.

10. Don't copy entire article in your post body

A top US military official has ordered the national guards of all 50 US states, the District of Columbia and US territories to form “quick reaction forces” trained in “riot control”, including use of batons, body shields, Tasers and pepper spray, according to an internal Pentagon directive reviewed by the Guardian.

The memo, signed on 8 October by Maj Gen Ronald Burkett, the director of operations for the Pentagon’s national guard bureau, sets thresholds for the size of the quick reaction force to be trained in each state, with most states required to train 500 national guard members, for a total of 23,500 troops nationwide.

As if the federal government can dictate to the states what to do with their national guard absent a federal emergency disaster relief effort (read as federal dollars flowing into the state for disaster money). Until then, they remain in the states' control. The pentagon taking over riot control is an overstep of police powers that are reserved to the states via the 10th Amendment. Additionally:

There's a reason you separate military and the police. One fights the enemies of the state. The other serves and protects the people. When the military becomes both, then the enemies of the state tend to become the people.

So what are you guys doing to stay sane? Because between this, nuclear testing resuming and basically anyone they want to label antifa as a terrorist plus just the overall feel of dread. I'm starting to get really depressed and really angry. If I didn't have a wife or daughter whom I love very much. I'd be considering removing some people in the GOP with no regard to my own life. Starting to think Fear is the only thing those ghouls will understand here on out

So what are you guys doing to stay sane?

I'm taking the bar exam in February. Figure the best I can do is help people in some way in a legal prococess to try and somehow get some sort of aid. Might be pultry in comparison to the harm suffered. But, it's the least I could do in this mad house.

Starting to think Fear is the only thing those ghouls will understand here on out

Fear doesn't work on them. They think themselves invulnerable because they're in power. But, when a despot is at the height of power (they get cocky), that is when they are most vulnerable.
