Well yes. If profit is the motive, nothing else matters. Not even laws. Corporations are not people. They cannot read laws, they cannot care about laws. It's like expecting an LLM to not produce slop because you really hoped it wouldn't.

Corporations are like viruses. They have a singular but infinite goal and will destroy anything and everything in their never-ending pursuit of it.
