FlyORO... As an enabler of the SAF supply chain, the company offers flyers the flexibility to align their ESG targets per flight rather than be succumbed to fixed blend ratios and bulk commitments upfront.

Highlights an interesting quirk of how Sustainable Aviation Fuel SAF is rolling out. So, not every flight will use the same mix of fuel, some qill use SAF others assumedly won't? I wonder what the differences guiding those decisions are?

I'm guessing it'll be based on profit margins of the flights themselves, QANTAS is more likely to use it because it has more expensive flights compared to Jetstar which has thinner margins

Cost of SAF: Even though the quantity of SAF available has increased in recent years, demand remains suppressed due to the higher cost of SAF compared to kerosene. The industry has to address this disparity and reduce the price gap with traditional fuel.

Yes, surely that'll be it. It'll be interesting to keep this detail in mind when they advertise emissions cuts to their fleets. I'll assume they'll use an 'average of CO2' per flight, but the emissions of each flight could vary greatly under the headline average.

Its an interesting location Toowoomba. I was wondering why they picked this location for the test. Turns out its probably pretty simple, Wagners is based in Toowoomba.
