Miller and his wife, podcaster Katie Miller, appear to have quietly fled the neighborhood in recent weeks. Neighbors say they were spotted moving out, and the house officially hit the market on October 7, according to ARLnow. The exit comes after several rounds of peaceful chalk protests on the sidewalk outside their home, with messages like “Stephen Miller is destroying democracy,” “stop the kidnapping,” and “no white nationalism” scrawled in bold letters.

While the chalk eventually washed away, the tension apparently didn’t. Katie Miller lashed out on social media: “To the ‘Tolerant Left’ who spent their day trying to intimidate us in the house where we have three young children: We will not back down. We will not cower in fear. We will double down. Always, For Charlie.”

“To the ‘Tolerant Left’ who spent their day trying to intimidate us in the house where we have three young children: We will not back down. We will not cower in fear. We will double down. Always, For Charlie.”

Ok. Who wants to help unravel this because it is a doozy.

  • Tolerant Left: I guess we are back to emotional appeals and centralism? That ship has sailed, Fascist.

  • Intimidate us in the house where they have three young children: crazy that they think this is acceptable for minorities.

  • Double down: you didn't and won't need us to do something you would always do. Double down would mean staying at home. Stephen Miller I am sure has around the clock security.

  • Charlie: Is this an a reference from the attack by the conservative Mormon community? How odd. Perhaps he is suggesting Mormons are intimidating him with chalk messages on the sidewalk?

also "will not cower in fear" *runs away after a peaceful protest

I guess it's technically true since they fled in (irrational) fear.

People with chalk: "Please stop doing what you're doing. It's objectively wrong and we don't like it."

The Millers: "Help! We're under attack! Run away! Run away! Flee for your lives!"

People with chalk: "Whoa, what's in this stuff?"

Never again make make me imagine Stephen Miller eating a tomato like that.

[–] Zorsith@lemmy.blahaj.zone 4 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Okay. Imagine him all oiled up instead.

I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you stop making me imagine the already disgusting Stephen Miller in increasingly gross situations now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.

"Whoa, what's in this stuff?"

Probably fentanyl. It's apparently in everything these days.

Well, whatever works, but I can't believe we've overlooked something so simple. This entire time, all we had to do is use opioid chalk to ward off fascists like salt for evil spirits? Count me in. I'll just make sure to wear a respirator and gloves. Bonus points if encampments form near the wards to scrape them up periodically.

Bro, this guy is filthy rich from his millions in Trump crypto. He's fleeing relative poverty.

Arlington is well known for their large and extremely violent Mormon population.

I'm sure a bunch of them called the police. Letting Ezra Benson be such a big part of church leadership really showed their true colors. Same with Oaks. He'll play the "religious freedom" card to try to let the Mormon church have a legal and political path to get greater grip on Utah, Idaho, and Arizona.

Oh, I'm an ex-Mormon, I know. It's bad. In my opinion, the true colors should have been apparent since Smith, and especially Young. They've got themselves a full theocracy over there. Which is really fucking bad.

Could you imagine going to school and hearing about your father's actions. Bruh those kids are fucked.

I just asked my kid like an hour ago - at college, for Constitutional Law, no one wants to discusss “current events”

[–] NatakuNox@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

What? Lol you'd think every lecture would be about current events. it's probably because deep down they know Constitutional lawyers might not be needed here soon.
