She looks so good! Question: the difference in her coat color between the pictures, is that bc her coat is thicker now bc she’s healthier? Or is it a seasonal change, ie: winter coat being whiter? Thanks for everything you do for her and thanks for educating us about our favorite equine!
It's totally the lighting difference in the two pics making the color seem different. She is actually getting a pretty good amount of fuzz on her for winter now that she's outside so much. I also do minimal brushing this time of year because I don't want to accidentally thin out the fuzz that's coming in. Last year she barely got any extra fur because she wasn't outside long enough for her body to kick into winter coat mode. She was very unhealthy last winter. I'm also starting her on additional supplement that'll help put some extra weight on her. I'd rather her be chubby going into winter, especially because I've heard this winter is supposed to be brutal in my area.
