This is not much different than Tesla figuring out batteries and chargers and giving others access to that data. Sometimes companies do good things
It's fairly different. Tesla needed a government incentive to move away from the proprietary charger.
Im aware, this is still somewhat similar in that this has made many others safer from the harms caused by driving as the net reduction in emissions from China especially benefits all.
And America needed a truly massive bribe to even participate in WW2 and then D-Day. Is it worthwhile to quibble about how the sausage is made?
Yes. Because it wouldn't have happened otherwise.
Under a post about morality? U serious?
Which bribe would that be?
That’s not a “pro-Musk lie”. The fact is Tesla still gave this info out and while there might be sound business logic for doing so this was a huge reason for why China has been able to cut emissions which benefits everyone.
Then there's sawstop who was trying to get Congress to require a sawstop on all table saws while simultaneously patent trolling any company that came up with their own version of it. Not sure what ended up happening with that.
That’s the reverse of this situation though?
Yeah I was giving an example of a company being shitty.
