I'm not embarrassed to admit that early LB had some pretty great songs. Fred Durst was embarrassing, but some of the tracks are absolutely tenderloin of turn-of-the-millenium numetal.

While the(ir) genre wad never the focal point of my musical tastes, they were close enough that I can enjoy some of the classics. Except Rollin', I always hated that one for some reason.

You're not wrong. I think it's more that my music tastes have shifted drastically since then. I was all in on corny numetal at that time. Wes Borland was super creative on some LB stuff and is the main reason they still hold up at all IMO.
