Man, even the 80's 'kids' movie were intense.

  • Dark Crystal
  • Last Starfighter - Head Melting, Clone face
  • Labyrinth - Tunnel of Hands
  • Some scene's from Neverending Story,
  • Some scene's from Secret of Nimh

I think the 80's had a huge leap in practical special effects, and it ended up fucking scaring the shit out of everyone.

It was just good enough, and yet not, to really hit that uncanny valley
