I know that the writers pivoted to the Borg as *the big bad " enemy, but I'm still surprised they never brought this one back in any capacity. The episode even ended setting it up for more and is a fan favourite.
I was hoping that the big conspiracy ploy 6 in Picard season 3 was building up to their return because it made a tonne of sense, but no it was just the Dominion and somehow the Borg again.
Yeah but have you ever wondered who controls the Borg? Like who really controls the Borg? Yes, bugs. They've always been an important part of IT.
