I'd buy into that vision if there is a proper local area network or offline mode. Arrowhead's forever game promise is as good as Microsoft's "Windows 10 is the last Windows OS".
That comment was taken out of context, sadly, and they quickly clarified it. They never meant that Windows 10 would be the last operating system. They meant something like giving free upgrades if memory serves, but I would take that with a grain of salt because I don't want to make more misinformation.
"No more paying for your operating system, free upgrades for all- oh wait, it seems your uhhh rolls a die processor just can't handle a truly modern operating system so please buy a new computer whose manufacturer paid to have windows 11 pre-installed."
Lmao so true. A certain part of me is glad, or I guess a better way to phrase it is that it's a silver lining, but that finally got me to switch to Linux for my main desktop. If I could've upgraded earlier before the Recall shit I probably would've, then just been stuck and dealt with it.
