I don’t think I realized how emotionally connected I was to this little guy. As I look around, there are so many things that remind me of him. I miss him very much. But I’m grateful that we got to throw him an 18th birthday, and we even took him cabin camping with us, which he reluctantly enjoyed lol.

I only adopt seniors. They need love too and don’t deserve to die alone in a cage. Anyway, I’m sorry for your loss.

She had a senior older brother who I adopted about a year before she was born. His name was The Colonel. They loved each other so much.
