It very likely wasn’t autocorrect, but ever since people starting screwing it up en masse in 2018 I’ve noticed myself doing it and constantly having to correct it. So yea, autocorrect would have no reason to fix something that isn’t broken but I also can’t blame you for doing it by accident(even though it’s one of my most hated things).

The keyboard I'm using is futo keyboard and I have it set to use a neural network for suggestions exclusively, because the asop keyboard suggestions were causing some jank for me.

This has resulted in a variety of new and different forms of jank that for me are less intrusive.

I basically almsot type apostrophes on mobile unless it's to use them for clarifying by putting a 'word' in them. Otherwise I almost always let auto correct add them for me and just correct if I notice it's off. Sometimes I don't notice.

The neural network transformer fixes all kinds of shit that doesn't need fixing 😅 including autocorrecting to capitalized words that would never be a proper noun, or sometimes caps lock. It absolutely fixes shit that doesn't need to be fixed lol. Most frequently when I mistype something and it jumps to the closest word- but it'll jump to that word capitalized or with an apostrophe.

It was almost guaranteedly my keyboard.
