TL;DR they migrated to Qobuz and playlists were moved via integration with Soundiiz

I was expecting there will be a recipe for downloading playlists in text format from Spotify, as I want to abandon it, too. Maybe I should look into Qobuz

Yeah, Soundiiz took care of everything. It seems like a service you usually have to pay for, but when subscribing to Qobuz you get a code that gives you free export/import.

I moved over from Deezer and it was painless.

I also like the Friday playlist of suggested music it creates weekly. It can be hit and miss but I've found some gems.
