when i first heard about the male loneliness epidemic i was like oh yeah close camaraderie and bonding between men is often discouraged in favor of competition or, if not discouraged, at least filtered through a lens of individualism that precludes deep connections. and then i learned what people meant by it (men arent getting laid) to which i say skill issue
to all the men out there not getting laid: try less hard to get laid and try more hard to be an enjoyable and relaxing presence

The majority of people are straight and cis
So am I and I don't enjoy it.
Also I think its fair to say that "straight" and "cis" are somewhat social categories not totally essential ones, so "straightness" and "cisness" are a crystalization of social attitudes within the individual, and much of that social conditioning is chauvinist. I am not a chauvinism enjoyer, and I don't think anyone else should enjoy chauvinism. But you do you.

In all seriousness I like being a guy, but the best parts of being a guy (other than privilege which isnt good but sort of appears that way to the individual) are shared by queer and trans guys, so I think I am being consistent with my principles even if I'm joking

Explain to me why what I said here is so upsetting? I have a comically bad track record with therapy but thanks for the suggestion. Is it because I had to explain my joke? Some people don't like that apparently
That's quite a lot of vitriol yourself! I genuinely don't understand the negative reaction, maybe it was a bad joke but people are legit mad at me. I'm not filled with judgement and vitriol, by no account is that true. So I wonder where the line is that I crossed
Alright well I disagree that I said anything that would be vitriolic, but I will reassess how I think about and joke about certain topics. These are tough, tense times and maybe shit that was funny a couple years ago ain't funny anymore. I just started new meds so that's got me going as well. Sorry if I caused any distress, I'm really not like that
