What surprises me is how people are actually surprised by this. Of course this is what was going to happen. What other outcome could anyone that’s been paying even an ounce of attention over the past decade or two expect?
I think we can say with good confidence that MAGA has not been paying attention to anything that doesn't fit with their "values"
This is hitting them hard precisely because they weren't paying attention.
