Doesn't woke just mean being aware of issues in your society?

I don't really see what scientific intelligence has to do with that tbh.

I see scientific intelligence as pursuing truth, which means being aware, I guess.

not specifically scientific intelligence, but more so trusting the scientific process that has been developed over centuries, and not refuting all scientific claims that conflict with specific political motives (i.e: believing that climate change is real and heavily influenced by humans and that we should stop polluting == woke. not believing in climate change because Big Oil lobbies ethically compromised politicians that then tell their constituents that climate change is a hoax; being one of those easily manipulated people == anti woke)
