They've literally done these things whenever and to however much extent possible. You seem to think having permanently 50 or less senators overcomes the supermajority. It's like you're not even capable of parsing that information.

Republicans don't allow that to stop them. When the Dems had all three branches of government during Obama's first term they let McConnell fuck with judge picks the entire fucking time. What did the Dems do when Trump came into office and started picking judges? Fuck all.

The Dems are a broken feckless party and need to be replaced. I don't even know who their target base voter is, because it isn't me. I am not looking for a center-right pro-billionaire party.

They can get rid of the rule holding them back at any time.

But with 50 or less that means getting rid of the rule holding Republicans back.

Just look how well it turned out removing filibuster for Cabinet appointees.

The filibuster that republicans remove when its convenient? The dems wouldnt need to proceed with the assumption the republicans were about to take control if they actually improved the immediate material conditions of their constituents. Theres also a million things they could have done by executive order.

I hate to "both sides" this conversation, but neither of these political parties have been working in the interests of the people for a real long time.
