This illustrates a very common feeling: that the WORST thing that can happen to a man is that a woman rejects him. The pain is like being beaten by a wire covered bat.
Contrast that to the worst thing that regularly happens to women, and you'll understand why art like this says more about the artist than society.
Yeah, this is a very strange artwork that portrays women (from a young age, no less) as being violent towards men. Anyone who can read past a headline knows that the opposite is true.
