Streaming is dead

I guess this means it doesn't create the income they want?

Meanwhile $NFLX at all time high currently.

No idea where that valuation is coming from but I guess they are winning the streaming wars.

Well, netflix has a variety of stuff. I don't know why anyone thinks that people would be fine with watching nothing but Disney.

Have you ever met a Disney fanatic? I've been in a relationship with one. I haven't been in a relationship with one in almost 20 years. I learned my lesson.

Yeah, but Disney fanatics are a minority. Sure they'll buy stuff and they'll get the streaming too but there aren't enough of them alone to make streaming profitable enough for Disney.

While netflix does quantity over quality, it does give you a lot more stuff to watch without additional charge compared to brand-limited services like Disney and Apple, so more people still gravitate to them.

It means they know they can't beat Netflix, and that the streaming monopoly is out of reach for everybody else. Without that monopoly, they can't raise prices to the points they want.
