app hangs on switching lemmy accounts (lemm.ee)

I'm using Connect 1.0.267. And everytime I switch accounts via the side tab, the app takes a long time to load the switched account and there's a spinner going on but it never switches.

I've tried logging out of the accounts and logging in back afresh I have but it still doesn't work.

The only way to get it to work is to

switch account on Connect
go to the android app info page
force quit and open the app from scratch.

Then I can get to the switched account.

Am not sure if I'm the only one having this as I cannot find other similar bug reports on this.

The same thing is still happening in 275.
