"From the River to the Sea" is calling for murder of everyone in Israel. Killing millions of people because a large chunk of them are Jewish is pretty Nazi like to me.
I love that the worldiverse let this kind of shit on for 3 days and then they whine about tankie censorship.
"From the river to the sea, palestine will be free" is calling for (as the word says) freedom for palestine. The fact you think it implies killing people just shows that you cannot imagine israelis not oppressing palestinians.
Where is this quoted?
It's so easy to just tack that on to any statement that condemns Israel, whether it was part of the original statement or not.
Pretty sure it's calling for the displacement of all the Israeli people there. But either way, being against Israel is being against the genocide they're committing, and one does not have to subscribe to every aspect of Palestinian vengeance in order to agree with what Israel is doing is wrong.
It's not calling for anybody's displacement. It's calling for freedom for the palestinian people. Period.
There will need to be an agrarian reform at some point but that need to happen democratically.
I'm not so sure. I've spoken with a lot of Arabs and Palestinians here in Copenhagen (talking to people has become part of my job, more or less), and the general idea seems to be that "from the river to the sea" means "the settlers (here meaning Israeli people) have to leave".
Sharing does not seem to be on the agenda at all.
"It's just ethnic cleansing" isn't really a great counter.
Displacement =/= murder. It's accuracy I want, not hyperbole. And not wanting to resort to hyperbolic language doesn't indicate an agreement with a given ideology. However it is necessary to be factual and accurate in order to have any grounds for an argument to begin with.
Something you're clearly not interested in.
