Sports washing is probably also a major goal of them, to improve their image and get more tourists into the country. Like Qatar has hosted the World Cup and that tournament isn’t known as a money maker for the host country.

Yup. It's not so bad here, F1 and FIFA and the Olympics and X event come here every year or every few years. Come see how great this city is (that only exists due to horrid slave labor and we only allow chosen people to live in that reinforces the image we want the world to see)
