I was reminded of the existance of the word "parboil" recently. It kinda surprised me how I just hadn't thought of the word for ages.

Off topic, I admit, but 6x8. I always forget what 6x8 is.

If it's any help, 6×8 is one less than 7×7.

It's a piece of lumber that is 6" by 8", and is excellent for building wooden structures that need to hold a lot of weight. I helped my dad build a tractor bridge from those once.
