Both sides of this argument is just terrible. And like most social commentary, I take no position on either side, because they are just designed to be inflammatory and not productive. I put everything through the filter of the class war and getting more money for poor people. I don't like when people pull the cart before the horse or think about their own struggles rather than the bigger picture. This is how they split up everything. Get you to focus on yourself. Why is everything extremes? Modesty doesn't have to be anything other than, caring about other people and how they feel. It is about putting others before yourself. Like let's say she is a Palestinian activist or ally, as she wants the genocide to stop. And so she takes interest in the culture of Palestinians. Let's just say this type of conversation doesn't need to be publicized but then also the Palestinian people in large are a conservative people who are highly religious and might not share the same values as her. If you are going to be an ally or an advocate of anything, you need to remember to shut your fucking mouth. It's not about you. And this is one of my biggest gripes about left wing ideology or more correctly liberal ideology. The left wing in America is liberal. Not left. I just don't like showy displays. Maybe I could put it into context and appreciate it. I mean I do understand the argument, but it's just like why even have the argument? Why don't we just talk about something that unites us, like the cost of living? I'm so sick of the culture wars. There is no war but the class war.
