The first time I got high, I got paranoid and went home (a block down the street). When I got there, my dad was for some reason there like two hours early. I told him I wasn’t feeling great and went up to my room.

About twenty minutes later, he brings me a giant omelette and a package of cookies. It was a surprisingly chill move for my dad, and neither of us has ever acknowledged that he definitely knew I was high.
