The First Two Captured Chinese Citizens

Today, investigators from the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) spoke with the first two Chinese nationals captured while fighting in Ukraine. We are currently verifying all facts regarding the presence of these and other Chinese citizens within the ranks of the Russian occupying army. Ukrainian intelligence is also actively working on this matter.

As of now, we have confirmed data on over 150 Chinese citizens who have been recruited by Russia to fight in the war against Ukraine. We know the real number is higher. Ukraine views Russia’s open involvement of Chinese citizens in combat on Ukrainian territory as a deliberate step toward expanding the war.

This is yet more proof that Moscow is simply trying to prolong the fighting. Russia doesn’t care who dies in this senseless war—it only cares that the war continues.

What we all need—all partners, all responsible members of the international community—is for Russia to lose the ability to continue this war, especially through the use of foreign nationals like these.

When the villainy behind it all is a global super network supporting a single irredeemable individual at the top who is unaffected by his own choices, it makes it less biblical and more realistic. This is building up because good people are getting out of the way or not causing systemic friction to kill these authoritarian initiatives.

Putin may have insulated himself but his war machine is still fragile and relies on many moving parts. And much of the manpower is sourced from ignorant or propaganda filled communities which don't know the truth about why they are fighting.

Education will always be the best deterrent in the long run but violence is good for now. Punch Nazis, save the world.

I keep thinking this is the line. But people are paralysed by the insane unbelievable self destructive death spiral of America, death by class war, the country being looted by kids and wired abroad and trying to understand why nobody does anything. Like everyone is empty of fire due to the SSRI epidemic or something

at first I was gonna say it's very 1984ish but I thought more about the tangled web we all weave and how the powers that be can force us to the front lines, while making an enemy that is not our enemy... it just seems so primitive and thus biblical IMO

I'm not even a believer in organized religion for the same reason

my opinion falls in line with the ancient Lakota beliefs of nature and spirit. THE great spirit, Wakan Tanka, is the Great Mystery. Never to be solved and anyone who's telling you they know the answers is a fucking liar
