A serious incident marked the first round of the 2025 season of the Michelin Le Mans Cup, this Saturday on the Barcelona-Catalunya Circuit. At a little more mid-course, the Iron Ladies' Porsche 911 GT3 R, piloted by Marta Garcia, was violently hit by Ferrari No. 51 in the third sector of the Catalan route.
The hook, for which Eliseo Donno was found responsible and sanctioned with a stop-and-go, caused a particularly spectacular exit from the track by the Porsche, literally pulverized under impact. A red flag was immediately deployed to allow for relief intervention.

Her team (Iron Dames) just posted that she is recovering well and has no major injuries. Stayed in the hospital overnight and will have a follow-up assessment today.
