Your argument is putting all the blame on the Dems

No. YOU'RE arguing for putting NONE of the blame on the Dems, I'm merely pointing out that they SHARE in the blame due to their ineptitude and/or intransigence.

The fascist GOP obviously bear the vast majority of the blame for their own actions, but that doesn't mean that the people tasked with keeping them from being able to are blameless.

a lot of people (roughly 36%) did not vote

Mostly due to voter suppression (mostly by Republicans in recent decades) and the fact that the Dem campaign alienated and ignored their base.

With voting presenting significant difficulty for tens of millions of people, you HAVE to do better than "slightly better than the least bad fascists" to drive turnout, ESPECIALLY in a time where incumbency us a disadvantage and your incumbent BARELY scraped a victory in the last election.

you need the Dems to be so dam perfect

Nope, that's a strawman copout. I personally always vote and recommend to others to do so, but I can understand how people who have a much less easy process to undergo than me might need the BAREST sign of faithful representation or even respect as motivation.

can't seem to hold the republicans/conservatives to that same standard

Another strawman. I hold Republicans to the same standards as anyone else, but I argue with them directly less often because they, unlike most Democrats, are simply incapable of considering any of my arguments in good faith.

You're looking a little Republican around the edges yourself in that regard right now..

it’s always the Dems fault for not getting through or their messaging.

That's LITERALLY their job. And the fact that the alternative is so awful makes it all the more egregious how adept they are at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

I think The voters are the ones that need to wake the fuck up for even allowing this to happen

Yes, the VOTERS are the ones that made sure that federal level politicians of both parties have increasingly represented rich people and their corporations to a much higher decree than the population in general in recent decades.

You're blaming the victims for not falling in line to support not being listened to.

stop blaming other for them not paying attention to what was actually being said.

This is pure projection. The ones not paying attention are the party leadership insisting on sticking to the 1992 playbook no matter how much the base implores them not to, as well as apologists like you insisting that wanting to be heard at all is the same thing as demanding perfection.

No this fall squarely in the voters and the none voters in my opinion.

I have to say the point where you say I am sounding like a republican, yet the one thing they do constantly is blame others constantly for their failures, something I would hope the dem voters or non voters to not fail at. The fact that the Reoublican campaign messaging was pretty blatant in their authoritarian, mysognistic and racist messaging speaks volumes for the voters who did not vote or voted for Trump. That is a failure on them.

Like I said earlier if one side is that blatant in their cruel hate yet the other side was not “compellng”, the US definitely deserves what its reaping right now.
