The Xiaomi SU7, which has been lauded for its safety features since its March 2024 market launch, has recorded its first widely reported fatal accident, resulting in the deaths of three female university students.

Yeah that is pretty surprising. I know other systems are pretty quick to pull over and disengage if you don't respond to the nags. 7 minutes seems like a pretty long time.

Is it possible to “trick” it? like a tiny touch now and then to keep it from nagging while also not paying attention?

not defending anything. just wondering if thats perhaps possible, and a risk

Yes. Just poking the wheel generally will make them quiet. I’ve done it on Volvo. Toyota. Subaru and a Honda.
