I had an old obese white man tell me to drive my bike on the busy 60km/hr road with no bike lanes rather than the sidewalk (rather than just apologizingfor taking up the entire sidewalk end not responding to a bell). When I asked if he ever drove on the road before he said he did it for 55 years. He then immediately jumped to what he would do if someone were to hit him- "I'd ask the guy if he had a wife, and then I'd tell him that she's about to be a widow, I'd murder him"

You're going to threaten to murder someone that ran you over? Wow dude, how brave and realistic. I'm sure they're all terrified of you and your 4 pound rat-dog.

The conversation got stupider and weirder and ended with him walking away after effortlessly twisting his own words against him. Once the room for cognitive dissonance ended he just walked away, it was really bizarre.
