The NDP is proposing to waive the GST on vehicles made in Canada and ensure the federal government, including agencies such as the RCMP, buy only Canadian automobiles.

This seems like it would help those wealthy folks who can afford new cars alot more. I would rather them focus on programs that can help all Canadian not just those already well off.
