Because they have to be backwards, anti-progress on literally everything.
Ofcourse not, it's because they're being bribed by oil companies.
MAGA is really a billionaire movement wrapped in what looks like a populist movement based primarily only on anger, hate, and oppression. I do not think bribes are needed. It is built-in.
The bribes are real, and since it's a billionaire movement, they have the means to keep the cash flowing. The anger, hate and oppression is the tool to get people to vote them in, or at least to stop people voting them out.
