After all the coincidences I've seen, I don't really question coincidences. The idea people have where coincidences challenge one's trust in something is counterintuitive to the fact we can say they exist. But I think the closest I would probably get to that is meeting my BF for the first time and us talking about our heritages; both of us were "new" students around the same time, both of us have families with ties to opposite places (for me it was the territories of New Zealand, for him Madagascar), both of us follow different aspects of the same traditions, and both of us were a part of the same communities and social circles. Sometimes I'd be mistaken as his older sister due to all this.
