I'll never see the appeal of a virtual TCG, like you can't sell it if you want, so what's the point getting the rare cards. It's no different then downloading a fake copy and putting it in a deck.

Nah it's NFTs with far less steps. NFTs are needlessly complicated energy wasting JPEGS, these are just microtransactions
